About Shel
Michele Orvis Webb is a Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional (CAP), Certified Mental Health Professional (CMHP), and an internationally-certified alcohol and drug counselor. She facilitates groups at two recovery facilities, and has a private practice in West Palm Beach.
Shel has worked in the field since 1997. Her particular focuses are addiction, grief and loss, and life issues. She believes that we often have the answers, but that we sometimes need to be asked the right questions so that we can put all the pieces together.
Bill, Shel’s husband, maintains the site and is a frequent contributor. An old-timer in recovery, he previously worked in the addiction field. Bill writes about recovery for his own websites, and for Sunrise Detox.
